Over Eeserhof

Hospitality at the current location of Eeserhof dates back many decades. Originally, it was a farmhouse combined with a living room café. Later, it became a fully-fledged café with hall space for theatre, parties, and events.

Around the turn of the century, a major expansion took place through the addition of meeting room space and 18 hotel rooms. In early 2022, the number of rooms was expanded to 30. The hotel has an elevator.

Hotel Eeserhof has become significantly greener through the installation of solar panels, making us self-sufficient in our electricity supply for large parts of the year. More parking spaces are also being added, with charging facilities for electric cars.

The company has been in the hands of the current owners since mid-2016. Together with their staff, they give substance to 'Hotel Eeserhof, Friendly and Hospitable!'.

Located near Borger, the Hunebed capital of the Netherlands, amidst the wooded surroundings of Drenthe. Eeserhof is a true family hotel with a very diverse clientele.

The surroundings of Eeserhof invite recreational activities such as cycling, walking, mountain biking, golfing, and horseback riding. Visiting megalithic tombs, festivals, cultural events, beaches at forest lakes, museums, and city centers are also popular activities. Tourists are drawn to this.



The central location between Assen, Emmen, and Stadskanaal gives business visitors a good reason to visit. Especially since the city of Groningen and the port of Delfzijl are within a pleasant travel distance, Eeserhof is gaining increasing recognition among business guests.
